It's the Original, It's the Best
Dixie Midnight's No-Sweat
vent pad prevents horse sweat from reaching your
saddle pad. Your pad stays dry, no matter how
much your horse sweats. Period. It's light weight,
soft, very flexible so it conforms to your horse's
back, doesn't absorb water, it's less than 1/4
inch thick, it doesn't compress, and it can't
lump up. You rinse it off with a hose to clean
it, and it dries in 10 to 15 minutes.

The
saddle pad. You know what that means: horse sweat,
skin oils, salt, grooming sprays, dirt, dust, and
who knows what else. (Do you really know what he
rolled in?) This stuff is all caked up on the bottom
of your saddle pad. It's a nice, fertile ground
for fungus, bacteria, mold, and mildew, and it's
just waiting for a break in your horse's skin. We've
all seen the withers sores that just don't seem
to heal, and worse. What to do? Of course, keep
your horse clean, make sure the saddle fits, and
keep your saddle pad clean? Wouldn't it be nice
if you could just brush your saddle pad once in
a while, and forget the saddle pad washing wrestling
match? You bet it would!
So what makes it work? The
No-Sweat Pad is made of large diameter polymer
fibers which are loosely pressed together to interlock
each one. This method makes large air spaces for
a true air flow, even under a really fuzzy saddle
pad. So what you get is a space between your horse's
back and your saddle pad.
Does it stop my horse from sweating? No - it prevents
sweat from reaching the saddle pad.
Does the vent pad get sweaty? Slightly - just
rinse it with a hose to clean.
Does it need special attention? Nope. Once it's
dry (10 to 15 min.) you can hang it, roll it up,
fold it, stuff it in your tack box, cram it in
a cabinet, throw it in the back of your truck.
It'll take it.
Who can use it? If you ride with a saddle or bareback
pad, you can use the No-Sweat vent pad. Prevents
saddle pad icing in winter weather, too. The only
place it doesn't seem to work is in the halter
or driving classes.
How do I know it'll
fit? When you get your vent pad, lay it out. Place
your saddle pad on top of it as a pattern, and
trim the vent pad with a scissors or razor knife
to fit your saddle pad. That's it!
Is it guaranteed? Absolutely. No-Sweat vent pads
are guaranteed to perform as described or your
money back!
