BASIC SADDLE CONSIDERATIONS
The following section describes saddle models,
prices and options. Print this section and use it to evaluate the
features of each model that you are considering.
The restocking fee, $125, applies to custom
saddles that are returned for refund. A custom order is any saddle
order that does NOT include the usual, marketable options and features.
Adding extra D rings, fenders, cinches or breast collars are not
considered custom. Examples of
custom orders are Schooling/Training pommel on endurance saddle,
barrel pommel on trail saddle or seat colors other than black, brown
or toast, seats 17" and over, dying all one color.
The most popular saddle models are the Endurance,
Basic Trail Riders and the Debra Sibley Barrel Racers. All Sports
Saddles come with a western felt girth with nylon backing.

collars are not included with any saddle but can be added for the

leather with a 3" cantle and a low profile endurance pommel.
Stirrups are set back one inch compared to all the other models,
which allows the rider to post and two-point more easily. The 4"
cantle is a free option. This can provide more seat security. Two
sets of front D rings, two sets of rear D rings, crupper
ring and round skirt are standard. The knee flap is the same color
as the saddle.
Cheyenne roll, $50 if oiled, light, medium
or dark. $60.00 if dyed to match the color of the saddle. The cheyenne
roll gives the saddle a little flair or pizzazz and riders can reach
back and hold on to it for more security should their horse spook
or get silly.
Contrast Trim - adds a very beautiful accent
to the saddle, $25. The trim roll is the roll of leather (light,
medium or dark oiled) around the base of the pommel and cantle.

chocolate and toast (rust). The BTR comes with one set of front

All Endurance Leather Covered option, $75.
Covering the entire saddle in the Endurance leather instead of the
standard suede. Endurance leather colors are black or chocolate.
This is the same leather that is put on the Endurance saddles -
a soft leather similar to car seat leather.
Customer order subject to $125 re-stocking fee if returned.
Why do some people choose the Endurance leather
option? While suede will give the rider maximum seat security, some
people do not favor an all suede saddle preferring the extra movement
in the seat that the endurance leather allows the rider. Also, suede
will
eventually loose its texture and will look shiny in places especially
where there is the most friction. Also if you anticipate riding
in rainy weather, suede will absorb the water whereas the endurance
leather will not soak up the water. Water just runs right off the
Endurance leather. This leather is very easy to clean and just needs
a light leather conditioner. It will stay
looking new for a very long time.
Common question - What is the difference
between the Barrel saddle, Trail saddle and the Schooling and Training
saddle?
Answer: The pommel and cantle on the Trail
Riders are about one inch lower than those on the Barrel Racers
and the Schooling and Training saddles. Also, the cantle angles
back more on the Trail saddle, whereas the Barrel racer cantle sits
more upright at a steeper angle and the seat is
more "scooped out" than the cantle on the trail riders.
DELUXE TRAIL RIDERS (DTR's)

This gives the saddle a little flair or pizzazz and riders can reach
back and hold on to it for more security should their horse spook
or get silly.
