Who do I call to get on the DEMO list?

Email Gerri at Treeless@SportSaddle.com or call 614 837-7299. She can tell you which saddles are available and how long it will take to get a saddle to you.

If you want to get on the list you'll need to provide her with your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and credit card. She can email you when the saddle is ready to be shipped. After you're finished with the demo, call or email and she will provide you with a shipping address. The address may be another customer, or the address may be back to our offices.

Is a security deposit needed?

Securing a demo saddle is very similar to buying a new saddle. The full price of the demo saddle will be charged to your credit card. You will need to accept shipping and insurance costs both ways. Shipping varys from us to you, from $45 to $70 or more depending on location, which includes approximately $6.00 for $999.00 for insurance. Also, you will need to pay for the return delivery and insurance costs out of pocket.

When the demo saddle, pad or other tack is shipped after the trial period, then the charge is credited back to your credit card, minus shipping.

When You Receive Your Demo Saddle…

If the shipping carton appears to be falling apart tell Gerri and send it back so we can replace the carton when you are done with the saddle.

Even though the saddle can be bent in half, please do not do this. If this is done it will very likely cause permanent creases in the leather.

Checklist for shipping:

Ship the saddle by UPS, whenever possible, and insure contents for $999.00 and get the tracking number. UPS will come to your house for pick up. Call Gerri if you would like to arrange this. Avoid shipping U.S. Postal service due to the high price and delays.
