This
saddle is VERY popular. Endurance
leather stays looking new for a very
long time and cleans easily
with just a damp cloth
to remove dirt. A light leather
cleaner/conditioner such as Lexal

About Custom Saddles
Saddles are custom if any item is removed or added to the saddle that varies from what is "standard" on the saddle. For example, all trail saddles come with a hoof pick pocket and medium oil finish and a horn.
If you ask to have the hoof pick pocket not included or for no horn or for dark oil then the 100.00 custom fee applies. Or if you ask for dark oil as the only change to the otherwise standard order than it is custom and the $100 fee applies.
Helpful tip: To clear up any confusion, there is only one $100
custom fee no matter how many custom items are ordered.
Another tip: If you are already going custom be sure to ask for the large cinch D ring that holds the nylon tie strap for no extra charge.
Customing your saddle: Whatever is on one of the other models can
usually be built on to any other model. Additional charges may apply, for
example, adding silver plates or dying the saddle all one color.
The most popular custom changes to saddles are:
Trail saddle seat sizes are custom under 14" or over 17"
Barrel and Endurance saddles are custom under 14" or over 16"
Black suede seats
Extra silver such as silver lacing $85 or silver plates $50
Double jockey skirt $50
Corner silver plates, $50
Contrast trim $25 on the basic trail riders or endurance saddles
Dying a saddle all black or all chocolate $50
Leather seats on the saddles $75
Dark oiled leather and large cinch D rings, no additional charge on custom orders.
Colored seats such as red, blue or purple suede are an extra $40.
Rear saddle bag D's added to the barrel saddle $10.00 per pair.
See the photo gallery for more ideas.
Note: If the seat size you are ordering is smaller than 14" or larger than the 17" the one time custom fee aplies, so you now can get a different pommel
or cantle or the large cinch D ring or light or dark oil at no extra charge.
When talking with my customers I try to offer suggestions for other options
that I know are no extra charge so you can get the most for you dollar.
Options that are not custom: fenders, breast collars, rear cinches,
stirrups, latigo strings, and in most cases, different conchos.
Helpful tips:Custom orders are non-refundable. So if you have not
had the chance to try a SS on your horse and you are wanting a
custom saddle than it is to your advantage to get a demo saddle.
